how to hypnotize a person: hypnosis for dummers.

Hypnosis is usually analyzed as a mental state in which someone becomes more intellectually receptive and can reach out hidden areas of their brain. Numerous skeptics do not get the purpose of hypnosis and still see it as some remotely-related black magic wizardry. The truth is, you do not need to learn how to hypnotize a person to benefit from hypnosis.

Hypnosis has been used over the years to diminish stress, help people stop smoking or lose weight. But learning how to hypnotize does not necessarily imply staring at a vacillating stone and faint. When you learn how to hypnotize someone, you actually see that is done in a very reposeful and ascertained manner to help put into a daydream mental condition-you are completely awake and you know exactly what is going on around you.

When you learn more about hypnosis, you find out that the mental state is more of a relaxed time to free your mind from other thoughts and open up onto new thinking paths. People who use hypnosis dig into their subconscious mind to modify their normal thinking patterns.

To give you an example, should a person want to lose weight, they might want to use hypnotic techniques to alter their way of thinking. In this case, eating becomes no longer a priority and turns into something that repels them.

It is exactly like if you were planting seeds of thought into your subconscious mind so that they can root and grow from there. The more trained your brain is, the easier it gets to alter your behaviour.

Hypnosis is something that can naturally occur for everyone. So how to hypnotize a person for the better? Have you ever found yourself so engrossed in a book that you’re focused on the pages and half an hour later, you realize that you didn’t notice anything going on around you?

Hypnosis is similar to a zoned-out state of consciousness: you may have also found yourself in a particular mental state where you’re so concentrated on one thing that you do not even know someone is talking to you at that moment.

The person is well aware of what’s happening, but they are only focused on the hypnotic attraction and not on any other environmental stimuli going on around them. When you’ve successfully reached a hypnotic state, you - or a hypnosis specialist - can plant alternative thoughts into your subconscious to help change your thinking patterns.
