Playing a Hunter class character in World of Warcraft Player versus Player combat requires many of the same skills real hunter possess. You need to be able to identify the target and figure out how it will react so you can anticipate what it will do next. You also need to know your own capabilities and the capabilities of your gear. And you need to be able to maneuver to the right position to take down your foe before they can take you out.

However, in Hunter PvP combat, there are issues that no real-world hunter has to deal with. But from my own personal experience, if you try this you can expect to get defeated regularly and be humiliated for a long time. You don't want to know how many hours I spent at the bottom of the standings in the arena before I finally started getting the hang of it.
