In the world of movies and entertainment, even zombies do evolve.  These zombies have gone from being slow and lumbering to agile, quick-thinking beasts of horror lore.

In the Resident Evil video games of Resident Evil 5, game publisher and developer Capcom have adapted to this by crafting a new spin in its survival horror franchise.  Make no mistake, the classic elements of the franchise are still intact.  Long-time lead character Chris Redfield can shoot zombies only while standing still and ammunition is hard to find.

Take note, you cannot outpace the creatures, so if you are not precise in your attacks, be prepared to get bitten and lose some health.

What has evolved to match the ferocity of the monsters is the action.  Shoot a zombie a few times (yes, they can still survive after a few shots) and you will get a chance to execute a special melee that will send them crashing to the floor.  Just like the previous versions, Chris has a partner but it is not fan favourite Jill Valentine.  Though she is still in the game, she has been replaced by newcomer Sheva Alomar.

Sheva will prove very useful during concentrated zombie attacks and will always be there to help you if you sustain too much damage.  Unfortunately, her main objective is to survive so ammunition and health pack conservation is not a priority.  The trigger-happy beauty will gladly shoot them or heal you at the slightest sign of first trouble.

There are also more treasures, such as statues and gems, strewn throughout the game for players to sell.  They can then use the money to upgrade their weapons.  However, unloading a magazine clip into a boss creature will not defeat him.  More is needed to defeat the creature and, in most cases, a little ingenuity helps.  At one level, players need to trap a monster made of goo in an incinerator to burn it.  At another, it is a combination of shots and well-timed action buttons that will save your skin.

The Resident Evil video games series has never been about Rambo-esque action so these elements are appreciated as they ground the game rather than transform it into a mindless shooting exercise.  As with other Capcom games, expect beautiful graphics but corny dialogue.

The only flaw is that some horror elements have been removed. The atmospheric sense of dread in the previous outings have been replaced by screaming creatures that announce their presence.

If you can hear them from afar, it is easier to shoot them as well.  Now enjoy this best series of Resident Evil video games series – the Resident Evil 5

Although this can adversely affect your ranking at the end of the level, simply restart the level when you run out of health or ammunition.  You will regain all the items you had before you quit but the new level will have fresh units of all items available before so you can stock up on them again.

Resident Evil Cheats – Melee

Attacking with melee or guns alone is not very effective.  Shoot the creatures and wait for the action button to appear on screen.  Once you press the required button, it becomes easier to thrash the zombies.  Use the quick-turn controls to whirl around during fights and fend off attacks from the rear.

Resident Evil Cheats – Control Sheva

Your partner might be a bit generous with her ammo and health, so control what she does by managing her inventory.  Try to withhold some of her guns and ammo.  So instead of letting her have the health packs, pass her the eggs, which replenish a smaller amount of health.

The Playstation 3 Consoles was first released on November 11th 2006 in Japan, and this was followed by a release in North America, Taiwan and Hong Kong on November 17th 2006. It was released in Europe in early 2007.

The Playstation 3 Console was originally available in two forms, the 20 GB Basic model and the 60 GB Premium model. The 20 GB model is still being sold in  Japan but is no longer available in America due to lack of consumer demand. As of July 2007, there are three configurations of the PlayStation 3 consoles: a 20 GB model, a 60 GB model, and an 80 GB model. All retail packages include a SIXAXIS controller (a motion controller which reacts to movement), a USB cable, a video audio output cable, an Ethernet cable and a power cable. The main differences between the 20GB and the larger models are that the 20GB model comes with less features; it does not have access to wi-fi and flash memory like its larger models.

The success of the Harry Potter books and films has been just phenomenal. They are popular with children of all ages and adults too. The franchise is said to be worth a cool $4 billion! The wait between each book and film is agony for the fans and so Harry Potter games fill the gap. Some of the Harry Potter games include the board games, card games, action figures based on the characters and electronic games to keep them entertained. There is also a Wizard Chess Set, based on the chess game played by Harry, Ron and Hermione in the first of the series.

The Harry Potter video games have proved very popular. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire followed and reviewers praised it highly for having superior graphics to the preceding games. This time, the game could be played by single and also by multi players. It was back to single player again for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Some of the most exciting scenes in the stories come from the playing of the Wizard game, Quidditch. Harry Potter is an extremely good flyer but almost meets a sticky end sometimes. It is a dangerous sport and requires a great deal of skill to play. The Harry Potter games, Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Series is for single and for multi players. There is a section for players to practice different moves of the sport before going on to try out those moves in competition. Players can participate in international, World Cup matches and Hogwarts School internal matches between Houses, choosing from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.  What a time for all Harry Potter games lover!
